WEEK 1
- For this week's lecture, it was just a briefing on our entire module in these four months on how it is going to be carried out. It was pretty interesting to me, honestly, to me. Mr. Kannan briefed all of us one step by one step and also showed and explained to us a couple of things that were important. We were also asked to purchase a tripod for future filming. Other than that, we did exercises in class after the briefing. Here is the exercise that we did: VIDEO AND SOUND PRODUCTION - EXERCISES. I also took some notes about the class that was pretty interesting to me.
WHY IS THE PRODUCTION PHASE THE MOST EXPENSIVE?
- because of the food and accommodation that need to be provided to the staff members, and also the actors
- The equipment needs to be purchased
- Everything that is rented on the set is rented by the day
WHAT ARE OFFLINE AND ONLINE EDITS?
- OFFLINE EDITS: like putting the video in sequence altogether to form one video
- ONLINE EDIT: deciding and inserting the audio levels, color grading, and more.
