LECTURE
WEEK 1
- For this week, it was our first week of class for the starting of the semester. So, Mr. Martin just briefs us for our module task for the whole semester by showing us our lecture slides. As well as we were also briefed about how to do our exercise 1. Other than that, we did a small activity with the group that Mr. Martin already assigned us with. We were asked to create a slide about what is infographic and also types of infographics in a short span of time and present it.

WEEK 2
- In Week 2, we explored how to make text do more than just sit on a screen by going into the dynamic topic of kinetic typography in After Effects. The art of synchronizing type with rhythm and emotion to turn static words into moving narratives was the main topic of the talk. To make the text feel dynamic and thoughtful, we practiced controlling its size, rotation, and position using keyframes. Mastering motion blur was a significant highlight; by turning on this straightforward toggle, we gave our animations a true, professional sense of speed without making the movement appear faded or robotic. Other than that, we were also asked to create Canva slides about L.A.T.C.H with our group.

WEEK 3
- We learned how to create dynamic visualizations from static data with Motion Graphic Charts in Week 3. After Effects Trim Paths and Expression Controls were utilized to animate lines and bars. We produced expert, data-driven animations that easily moved by connecting sliders to text layers, making difficult information visually appealing and understandable. For this week, Canva slides were about CHUNK.

WEEK 4
- For week 4 class, Mr. Martin guided and taught us on how to animate objects using Adobe Illustrator as well as aftereffects. Other than that, we also did a Canva slide about Manuel Limo's nine directives manifesto.

EXERCISES & PORJECT 1 & 2
EXERCISE 1:
- For this week, we were asked to do exercise 1 which is quantity and visualize data, FLIP class which is to redesign one of the bad infographics that we choose and lastly, with our designated group we had decide on what song to choose for our group project.
FLIP CLASS:
- This is the bad infographic that I chose:
PROGRES:
- These are the few progress that I have captured while doing my task.
FINAL OUTCOME:
- There are several reasons why this poster came out like this as my final outcome. First of all, my intention is to keep the poster super simple aesthetic wise. Secondly, the color palette that I chose is pastel color because in my opinion bright colors might look sketchy and not eye pleasing for viewer. Since nowadays pastel are the trending colors in Pinterest. Third, is that the reason why the sequence from number one to five is in a U shape is that since this is a positive kind of poster, the U shape of the sequence represent a smile. lastly is that I added a few suns shining to really capture viewer's attention.
THE SONG MY GROUP AND I CHOSE:
- APT by BRUNO MARS & ROSE
EXERCISE 2:
- We were instructed to arrange a collection of data into a graphic poster that integrated and applied the LATCH concepts. To create a LATCH infographic poster, put the Pokémon together using a digital photo editing or illustration program. The monster pictures can be used again, but you must make the remaining images to finish the poster.

PROJECT 1:
ANIMATED INSTRUCTABLE POSTER:
- For this task, we were asked to create a recipe poster. So, we choose a food recipe we would like to make, then put it into Adobe Illustrator and animate our poster to match how we want it to look. We can either choose a video recipe from YouTube or use our own recipe that we find anywhere. For me, I chose to make a recipe for Chicken Alfredo pasta that I found on YouTube by Natasha's Kitchen.

KINETIC TYPOGRAPHY (EXERCISE 3):
- For this exercise, we were put into groups and we discussed about what song we want to animate. At first, me and my group we chose to do APT by Bruno Mars and Rose but at the final moment we decided to change the song that we were doing to Luther by SZA and Kendrick Lamar. After finalizing the song, we carried on with discussing on the theme and font as well as who is doing which part of the lyrics.
