- GESTALT THREORY
- Gestalt principles are the laws of human vision that explain how people see objects by grouping related pieces, identifying patterns, and simplifying complex visuals. The principles are used by designers to arrange content on websites and other interfaces in a way that is both visually appealing and simple to comprehend.
- CONTRAST
- The difference that allows two or more things to be differentiated from one another is called contrast. It can be used in a variety of fields, including language, design, photography, and art.
- EMPHASIS
- In design, emphasis is the process of drawing attention to or making particular components in a composition stand out. It is employed to draw the viewer's attention to the most crucial elements of a layout, artwork, or design.
- BALANCE
- In design, balance describes how visual components are arranged within a composition to produce harmony and stability. It guarantees that no element of the design seems either light or heavy, resulting in a layout that is both aesthetically beautiful and well-proportioned.
- REPITITION
- The intentional use of the same or comparable components (such as colors, forms, patterns, textures, or typography) throughout a composition is known as repetition in design. The design feels unified and well-organized because to this technique's assistance in establishing visual rhythm, consistency, and uniformity.
- MOVEMENT
- In design, movement describes how the viewer's eye is led across a composition, frequently in a controlled and intentional manner. By guiding the viewer's focus from one element to another, it helps produce a sense of motion or flow that might arouse feelings or draw their attention to important areas of the design.
- HARMONY and UNITY
- By ensuring that every component is related and harmonious, unity creates a sense of wholeness.
Harmony guarantees that components work in an attractive, well-balanced manner and compliment one another. These ideas work together to produce designs that are visually appealing and simple to comprehend, giving the audience a seamless visual experience.
- SYMBOL
- In design, a symbol is a picture that represents a concept, idea, or thing and is used to communicate meaning in a straightforward, understandable, and frequently broad way. With just a few lines or shapes, symbols can elicit strong associations, feelings, and messages, making them effective communication tools.
- WORD and IMAGE
- Word and picture are the two basic elements of design that combine to convey a message, tell a tale, or establish a visual identity. Each has a unique but complimentary function, and when combined well, they increase the design's impact.
