LECTURE

this was the fifth week of this module, which is week 5. for today lecture, Mr. Fauzi taught us how to use double exposure such as using the tilt effect, create fake reflection and etc. Other than that, he also taught us how to use blend modes. These two skills are to help to make your image more fascinating. 


Double Exposure: 

  • using tilt effect to create a softer work of art.

TUTORIAL and PRACTICAL

For this week activity, we had to watch the video that was provided by Mr. Fauzi in Google Classroom and also download the two images that was provided. with those two images that we downloaded, we had to follow the tutorial video on how to carry out the heart mansion with shazam activity. after that, we have to replace the shazam picture with one of our own pictures and edit it the same way as we did as the shazam.

using the brush tool to select the image that wants to be cut out.



after selecting the object that wants to be cut, type in ctrl+c then ctrl+v to copy and paste the selected subject.


after that, just adjust the image and place it on the heart mansion image.


Final Outcome




REFLECTION 

In this week photography class, I really gained a lot of knowledge in photoshop. Some of the tools are even the tools that I've never heard before or try to use before. For example, the blending modes method was very interesting because it doesn't look complicated just to create such an amazing picture. Furthermore, I really enjoyed doing the heart mansion activity. I've used the brush tool before, but I don't use it often since were always using the pen tool to cut object out. overall, it was not difficult at all to carry out this activity.
