TUTORIAL and PRACTICAL
DESCRIPTION:
The sun shines on a bright day and acts as the inspiration for my artwork. As one can see from the upper left corner, it comes from a small area and shines on the whole area. I made a point to make the building on the lower right corner stand out as much as possible. Then, the dust particles moving through the air are the elements surrounding and above the building. I really like how everything in this composition has a different color scheme, yet the fish and typewriter stand out the most.
DESCRIPTION:
I gained a lot of knowledge from Mr. Fauzi's guidance on this adjustment layer and filter task. As an example, I learned how to improve the composition by adjusting the saturation, gradient, and curves on each element. I adjusted the saturation for this particular piece of composition in order to highlight the colors more. In order to add extra contrast to the composition, I also apply curve and level.
